SALT LAKE CITY – The Westminster College Department of Athletics is pleased to announce that the 248 student-athletes at Westminster posted a cumulative grade point average of (GPA) of 3.26 during the spring semester.  That is up from the 3.23 during the 2011 fall and spring semesters.

"These results show our student-athletes place a high priority on academics and are committed to learning," Director of Athletics Shay Wyatt stated.  "We recognize these efforts and the fact that our student-athletes continue to maintain the academic standards and tradition of Westminster College."

Of the group, 14 student-athletes posted a perfect 4.0 GPA while 112 had a GPA at or above 3.5.  Westminster also had 106 student-athletes receive academic recognition by their sports respective conference and/or national affiliation.
