Salt Lake City, UT - Westminster University is proud to announce that its 240 NCAA student-athletes achieved an impressive combined GPA of 3.502 during the 2024 fall semester, marking the 18th consecutive semester with a combined GPA surpassing 3.3. Of these student-athletes, 220 finished the semester with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Furthermore, 113 student-athletes earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher, while 18 finished with a perfect 4.0.

"We're very pleased to highlight the academic accomplishments of our student-athletes this fall," expressed Shay Wyatt, Director of Athletics . "These results are a testament to our student-athletes' ability to effectively manage demanding schedules while prioritizing their academics. I congratulate our student-athletes for their impressive work and upholding our proud academic tradition."

Nine of Westminster's 15 NCAA sports teams achieved a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher.

"It's fantastic to be recognized for sports excellence, but achieving academic success is even more rewarding," remarked Shelley Jarrard, Associate Athletics Director.
