Box Score SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The Westminster Griffins hung around with 12th-ranked Point Loma Nazarene on Friday night, but eventually dropped the game 1-0. The loss snaps a four-match winning streak for the Griffins, and drops them to 5-4-0 on the season.

Point Loma Nazarene used a 17-5 advantage in shots in the game to apply pressure to the Griffins. The game's only goal came in the 75th minute when Amanda Rowand beat Griffins' keeper Dayna Winter-Nolte on a breakaway. Winter-Nolte recorded three saves in the contest.

Westminster returns to action on Sunday, September 21 when they face Cal State-San Marcos.
