Tournament Breakdown

Round 1

The Westminster women's golf team opened the WT Desert Invite on Monday at the Lodge at Ventana Canyon – Mountain Course in Tucson, Arizona. The Griffins posted a first-round team score of +36, sitting 13th in the 14-team field after day one.

Round 2

Westminster improved in the second round on Tuesday, carding a +26 to close out the tournament. The Griffins finished with a two-round total of +62, placing 12th in the field. 

Griffin Performances

Ashley Lam led the Griffins with a seventh-place individual finish, posting rounds of 75 (+3) and 74 (+2) for a two-round total of 149 (+5). Lam ranked T3 in the field in birdies with 7, T7 in par 4 scoring (avg 4.20, +4), and T5 in par 5 scoring (avg 4.63, -3).

Remi Rawlings finished 35th, posting rounds of 79 (+7) and 78 (+6) for a 157 (+13) total.

Madalyn Hadley finished T63, recording rounds of 83 (+11) and 84 (+12) for a 167 (+23) total.

Lily Shin finished T63, improving in the second round with an 80 (+8) after an opening 87 (+15), finishing at 167 (+23).

Isabel Wade finished 73rd, posting rounds of 97 (+25) and 82 (+10) for a 179 (+35) total.

Jailee Snow competed as an individual, finishing 45th with rounds of 83 (+11) and 77 (+5) for a 160 (+16) total.
