SALT LAKE CITY – Westminster sophomore Reimi Bleyl has been named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women's Golfer of the Week, the league announced Thursday, following her standout performance at the Wasatch Invitational.

Bleyl caught fire in the final round, carding a tournament-best (–3) to finish tied at the top of the leaderboard with teammate Ashley Lam at +3 overall. The two Griffins went head-to-head in a playoff for the individual title, where Bleyl prevailed the victory. Her performance also helped Westminster capture the team championship by a single stroke, marking the Griffins' first-ever title at the Wasatch Invitational.

Bleyl reflected on the experience, saying:
"This win, really this round, helped me to realize that even if I have a poor or average first round, I can come the next day and start fresh. Each day is a different day. This win is a reminder to me of what I'm capable of. I think this playoff, individual win and team win demonstrate that the Westminster Griffins are trending in the right direction and compete at a high level throughout the remainder of the season."
