COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Westminster University freshman
Ashley Lam is the latest Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women's Golfer of the Week, the league announced Thursday.
Women's Golfer of the Week: Ashley Lam, Westminster (Fr., Taylorsville, Utah)
Lam was the standout performer for the Griffins at both the Vegas Warrior Invitational and the Southwest Minnesota State University Classic. At the Vegas Warrior Invitational, the freshman secured a tie for fourth place with a score of +12 over the two-day event. The Taylorsville, Utah native then followed up with an impressive performance at the SMSU Classic, shooting +17 to finish in a tie for third place. Thanks to Lam's strong showing, the Griffins placed third and first in the two tournaments, respectively.
