Las Vegas, NV – The Westminster Women's Golf team opened their 2025 spring season at the Wildhorse Golf Club, finishing third in the Vegas Warrior Invitational hosted by Winona State University.  Three Griffins finished in the top 10.

Ashley Lam led the Griffins with a fourth-place finish at +12, carding five birdies throughout the tournament. Kyra Sponenburgh followed closely behind in sixth at +6, while Madalyn Hadley secured seventh place at +9.

Isabel Wade finished 17th, Kindra Hirasuna placed 25th, and Reimi Bleyl rounded out Westminster's lineup.

"We are on our way to playing some strong team golf and I'm proud of our ladies for the hard work they have put in over the winter," said Director of Golf, Denise Larson. " I know the pieces will fall into place and I'm excited to see what this team does the rest of the season."
