Virginia Beach, VA -Courtney McAlindon placed 6th at nationals in the women's mile this weekend, making her not only one of the first griffins to ever advance to finals but also one of the first griffins to ever become an All American and Josii Johnson placed 6th at nationals in the women's 800m this weekend, besting her school record from the day before and running a 2:09.90, making her not only one of the first griffins to ever advance to finals but also one of the first griffins to ever become an All American. 

There were a few records broken over the weekend as well. 

McAlindon broke a school record with a time of 4:49.68 for the mile, Johnson had a time of 2:10.14 in the 800M another school record, the Griffins as a team in the DMR had a time of 11:51.56 another school record, it was a weekend the Griffins will remember.
