Gunnison, CO - The Westminster Griffins closed out the indoor season at the RMAC Indoor Championships in Gunnison with a series of encouraging performances that provide momentum heading into the outdoor campaign.
Freshman Kanoe Haneberg led the way, scoring for the Griffins with a seventh-place finish in the high jump (1.63m) while also competing in the long jump, continuing to establish herself as one of the team's most versatile athletes. In the multi-events, Mia McKay secured a top-10 finish in the pentathlon with 2,951 points, while Teyvia Sidberry gained valuable championship experience. Additional contributions came from Angela Martin Rubin in the 800 meters and Jack Mulliner in the men's long jump, both adding depth and experience against strong RMAC competition.
As the indoor season comes to a close, the Griffins carry forward confidence, experience, and continued development across the roster. With a strong foundation built over the winter, Westminster now turns its focus to the outdoor season, where the team looks to build on its progress and early success.
