Meet Breakdown

The Westminster Griffins closed out the 2025-26 outdoor track and field season at the BYU Robison Invitational, held April 29–May 2 at the Clarence F. Robison Track and Field Complex in Provo, Utah. Athletes from both the women's and men's programs competed across a range of events to cap the year.

Women's Events

Freshman Laine Romney was Westminster's most active women's competitor, taking the track in three events. In the 100 meter dash prelims, Romney ran a 13.09 to finish sixth in her heat. She returned in the 200 meter dash, crossing in 27.39 to place 14th overall, and in the 400 meter dash, recording a 1:00.67 for 11th overall.

Sophomore Angela Martin Rubin also competed in the 200 meter dash, posting a 26.87 to finish 13th overall.

Sonya Brunner competed in the 5000 meter run, finishing 11th overall with a time of 19:25.62.

Freshman Teyvia Sidberry was entered in the 400 meter hurdles but did not start (DNS).

Men's Events

Freshman Dario Garcia Sanchez had a strong showing in the 400 meter dash, clocking a 49.55 to finish seventh overall.

Freshman Jeremy Alba competed in the 100 meter dash prelims, running a 10.84 to place fifth in his heat and 12th overall in the preliminary round.

Diego Escalante was a two-event competitor on the men's side. In the 800 meter run, he posted a 2:08.27 for 15th overall. He also competed in the 1500 meter run, finishing eighth overall with a time of 4:12.84.

Walker Hall entered the 10000 meter run but did not finish (DNF), while Nicc Winegar did not start (DNS) in the 800 meter run.
