SALT LAKE CITY - Westminster women's soccer (RV) (7-2-4, 4-2-3 RMAC) sits just one win from officially clinching its spot in the RMAC Women's Soccer Tournament as it travels to play Adams State (1-10-2, 0-7-2 RMAC) on Friday at 3 p.m., followed by a Sunday match at N.M. Highlands (1-10, 1-8 RMAC) on Sunday at 12 p.m.

About the Griffins:
- Following a pair of 3-0 home conference wins last weekend, Westminster sits in sixth place in the RMAC Women's Soccer standings and was No. 7 in this week's USCA NCAA DII South Central Region rankings (top six earn an automatic NCAA Tournament bid).
- Westminster drew 1-1 with first-place Colorado School of Mines earlier this season and held late leads over fourth-place CSU Pueblo and fifth-place UCCS.
- Midfielder Alex Maple was named RMAC Offensive Player of the Week after scoring three goals with one assist in the Griffins' two games last weekend. She is tied for the team lead with five goals and is the team leader with four assists.
- Maple scored from long range early against Black Hills State and scored two second-half goals against Colorado Christian including one goal directly off of a corner. She also added her assist off of a far-post corner that was finished first time by teammate
Alex Hoffman.
- Forward
Aimee Kurfurst also has a team-leading five goals scored and added one assist to her season stats last weekend. The graduate student pursuing her Master's in Education was also named to the RMAC's First Team Academic All-Conference team earlier this week.
About the Grizzlies:
- Adams State (1-10-2, 0-7-2 RMAC) has gone 11 matches without a win, earning two results during that stretch with back-to-back ties against Black Hills State and Fort Lewis. ASU its two matches last week to CSU Pueblo and UCCS, scoring its only goal in the past three matches in a 4-1 loss to UCCS.
- ASU has given up 3.0 goals per game and has been outscored 39-9 so far this season. They have attempted just 95 shot attempts this season but have allowed 117 shots on goal from opponents.
- Carena Harrison has been the main source of offense for the Grizzlies with three goals and one assist.
About the Cowgirls:
- N.M. Highlands (1-10, 1-8 RMAC) has lost four straight after its first and only win of the season over Western Colorado back on Oct. 8.
- The Cowgirls have allowed 19 goals over their current four-match losing skid including seven in a 7-2 loss at CSU Pueblo on Sunday.
- N.M. Highlands has allowed 4.45 goals per game with four different keepers seeing action so far this season. Karina Vega has eight starts (1-10) with 31 goals allowed, Katie Scott has two (0-2) with 10 goals allowed.
- Valeria Baca (4) and Nitza Rodriguez (4) have combined for eight of the team's 11 goals all season while Kiarra Hovis has two of the team's three assists.
