Westminster Two Game Home Stand
The Westminster men's soccer team (4-6/0-4 RMAC) continuesÂ
RMAC play as they host Colorado Mesa (6-1-1, 2-1-1 RMAC) Wednesday at 3 p.m. and Friday against South Dakota Mines (3-2-2, 2-2 RMAC) at 3 p.m.  Both games will be played at Dumke Field.  Game
tickets can be purchased in advance online or day of the game at the main entrance.  Both games will be broadcast on the
RMAC Netwwork. Â

The Week In Review
The Griffins came away 0-2 on the road last week coming up short in two-close conference games. Â
Last Sunday afternoon, Adam States (5-3 and 2-2 RMAC) Drayden Ricks scored the first-goal at the 23rd minute mark off an assist from Mario Castro which ended up being the game-winning goal.  Game shots we're fairly even as Westminster ended the contest with eleven shots and seven on goal compared to Western State with ten, six on goal and one score.  The Griffins had six corner kicks and twelve fouls.Â

This past Friday in Durango, Fort Lewis College'sÂ
Ryan Lee's second goal of the season proved to be the game-winning goal Friday afternoon in a 2-1 win for Skyhawks men's soccer team at home against Westminster College.  The win was the Skyhawks second straight victory, moving their record to 2-2-3 overall and 2-0-1 in league matches.  Westminster drops to 2-5-0 overall and 0-3-0 in the RMAC.
Danny Darelli put the Grififns on the scoreboard at 83:49, preventing a Skyhawks shutout.  Westminster doubled up the Skyhawks on shot attempts, 18-9. Thirteen of their shots came in the second half while the Skyhawks were held to only two attempts.

Men's Soccer
The 2017 season is the 34th season of competition for the Westminster men's soccer program. The Griffins went 4-13 last season, its second competing in the RMAC and against an NCAA Division II schedule.  The Griffins are competing in their third season of
RMACÂ play since beginning the NCAA II provisional membership process.
Scouting the Opponents
Colorado Mesa (2-1-1 RMAC) comes into Dumke Field sitting at 4th place in the RMAC standings after a 1-1 tie with Ft. Lewis on Sunday.  In RMAC play, the Mavericks we're defeated by Colorado Mines in the opener than pulled off two wins in a row over No. 18 Regis 3-0 at home and Adams State.
South Dakota Mines currently sits at (2-2 RMAC) with both of their conference victories over Colorado Christian, while losing twice to MSU-Denver.
Looking Ahead
Sunday, October 8th the Griffins take on CSU-Pueblo in Pueblo, Colorado before returning home to travel to Grand Junction for a Wednesday contest at Coloraod Mesa. Â Fans can follow the action on the
