PROVO, Utah – The Westminster track & field team finished the BYU Robison Invitational with 14 personal-best marks and a school record on Saturday.

Wesley Spargo set the school record in the 400 Meter Hurdles by finishing the race in 53.89 seconds to place fifth overall. Spargo posted the second-fastest time in school history by going 11.14 seconds in the 100 Meter and 22.63 seconds in the 200 Meter.

Alexandra Westbrooks finished the women's 100 Meter in 12.92 seconds to narrowly miss her school record in that event.

Emily Schmitt recorded the third-best time in Westminster history by going 2:25.91 in the women's 800 Meter.

The Griffins will close their first season in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference at the 2016 RMAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships on May 6-8. The meet will be held is Spearfish, S.D. with Black Hills State serving as host.
