The Griffins also had a strong showing at the Weber State Winter Open on December 5. Payton Schiff placed third in both the 1-Mile and 3,000 Meter races.

This weekend's race is the third of six regular season meets in the Griffins indoor schedule. They are back in action next weekend when they compete at the Snake River Open in Pocatello, Idaho.
