The Westminster women's soccer team will play their final two home games of the season this weekend. The Griffins welcome New Mexico Highlands on Friday at 4 p.m., before facing Colorado State–Pueblo on Sunday at 1 p.m.
The Griffins will honor their five seniors prior to the game on Sunday. Tickets for both games are available at

ABOUT WESTMINSTERWestminster enters the final home weekend of the season at 7-6-1 on the year and 3-5-1 in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference action. They are currently in a four-way tie for sixth-place in the conference standings with 10 points. The Griffins are 1-3-1 in their last five games and they have gone 3-2 at Dumke Field this season.
The Griffins are averaging 1.14 goals per game and they rank sixth in the RMAC in that category. They take 11.6 shots per game with 44.4 percent of them on goal. The team has taken 57 corner kicks with 10 assists.
Defensively, Westminster ranks tied for fifth in the conference by allowing 14 goals this season. They are sixth in the league with a 0.97 goals-against-average. The opposition is taking 8.4 shots per game and they put 47 percent of them on target. Griffin keepers have made 41 saves with a .745 save percentage.
Senior
Rylei North has scored five goals and is presently tied for third in the conference in that category. She is tied for seventh in the conference with 10 points and tied for third with three game-winning goals.
Madison Roemer and North are tied for sixth in the RMAC by taking 38 shots on the year.
Korral Koehler is tied atop the league rankings with five assists and an average of 0.36 assists per game.
Abi Yanke has started 10 games and gone 6-3 in those starts with three shutouts. She ranks sixth in the RMAC with a 0.75 GAA with 27 saves and .794 save percentage.
Breanna Empey has started the past three games and played in six games overall. She has a 1.37 GAA with 14 saves and .667 save percentage.
SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION
• New Mexico Highlands – The Cowgirls come to Salt Lake City with a 6-7-1 overall record and they are 4-2-1 in RMAC play. They are currently fourth in the conference standings with 13 points and have gone 1-3 in road games. NMHU is averaging 1.0 goals per game with a 1.20 goals-against-average. Mallory Bostic is tied for the RMAC lead with six goals and she leads the league with 71 shots.
Westminster and New Mexico Highlands will play for the first time on Friday.
• Colorado State–Pueblo – The ThunderWolves start the week at 7-5-2 overall and they are 3-3-1 in conference action. They are among the group of four teams tied for sixth in the standings with 10 points. Pueblo has won three straight games by a score of 1-0 and they are 0-2-2 in road games this season. Amanda Jorgensen leads the team with four goals and is the only player on the team with more than one goal. Alison Darr has started 10 games with a 1.05 GAA and .800 save percentage.
Sunday will mark the first-ever meeting between the Griffins and ThunderWolves.
