Complete Release | PDFSALT LAKE CITY – The Westminster College track & field team will spend the weekend in Provo, Utah to compete in the BYU Robison Invitational. The meet will be held at the Clarence F. Robison track and field complex on both Friday and Saturday. The running events will get underway at 1 p.m. MDT on Saturday.

NATIONAL RANKINGSThe Westminster men enter the week ranked No. 74 in the current edition of the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association NAIA National Team Computer Team Rankings. The Griffin women sit at No. 65 in the current rankings that were released on April 16.
Casey Evans is ranked 11th in the High Jump after hitting the NAIA B qualifying mark with a jump of 2.03 meters at the Wildcat Outdoor Open on April 12. He is slated to become the first Griffin to qualify for the NAIA National Championships in a field event.
Oliver Lange ranks 20th in the Half Marathon after posting a time of 1:11:31.00 at the Surf City Half Marathon in February. That time qualifies the two-time All-American for the Marathon race at the NAIA National Championships next month.
With 4,204 points in the Heptathlon event at the UNLV Randall Cunningham Invitational last month,
Justine Kueffner is currently ranked 12th in the NAIA in the event. The top 16 scores qualify for the National Championships as Kueffner looks for a second-straight trip to the event.
SCHOOL RECORDSIt has been a good start to the outdoor season for Westminster as the team has already established 14 school records. The women's team has recorded nine of those new school-bests.
Jennylee Swallow set the Griffin record in the 100 Meter Dash when she posted a time of 13.01 at the UVU Collegiate. Kueffner has set Westminster records in four different events, including those 4,204 points in the Heptathlon.
Erin Kibler's time of 5:06.06 in the 1,500 Meter Run at UVU is a new record as is the 11:20.83 from
Payton Schiff in the 3,000 Meter Run at the Utah Spring Classic.
Joe Feichko bested his previous record in the 400 Meter Dash on two separate occasions this season, including the current time of 50.84 at the UNLV meet. Along with the record time in the Half Marathon, Lange set a school-best in the 5,000 Meter Run by going 15:30.37 at the Utah meet. Evans set the mark in the High Jump by clearing 2.03 meters and
Tallon Robertson used a jump of 6.25 meters at the Utah meet to establish a Westminster record in the long jump.
LOOKING AHEADWestminster will conclude the outdoor regular season on May 7 when they compete at the Weber State Twilight in Ogden, Utah
