GRIFFIN NOTEBOOK
Westminster carries a 1-3 record into the weekend and is looking to snap a three-game losing streak. They are coming off back-to-back one-goal losses on the road last week, falling 1-0 at Saint Xavier (Ill.) and 2-1 at Saint Francis (Ill.). The Griffins are 1-1 at Dumke this season, claiming the lone win of the year on Aug. 20.

The Griffins have scored seven goals this season and are averaging 1.75 goals per game. They have taken 56 shots in the four games for an average of 14 shots per contest. Westminster has put 27 of those shots on goal for a .482 percentage.

The defense has allowed just four goals and gives up 7.2 shots per game. Griffin opponents have only scored more than one goal in a game one time this season. They have put .586 percent of their shots on goal against the Griffins with three assists.

AGAINST THE OPPOSITION
Friday will mark the second meeting all-time with Oregon Tech for the Griffins. The two teams played two a 2-2 draw at Dumke Field in 2008. Sunday's game will be the first-ever meeting with Midland.

THREE FOR HARRIS
Senior Jessica Harris is the team's leading scorer this season with three goals. She opened the year with a double in the season-opener against Jamestown (N.D.) and then snapped a 190-minute scoring drought by the Griffins when she scored against St. Francis on Monday.

Harris entered the season with four career goals and only one since the start of the 2011 campaign. She has matched her career high of three goals set during her freshman campaign on 2010.

MINER ANCHORS THE BACK
Junior Miranda Miner is the anchor of the Griffin back line. After leading the team with 1,640 minutes played in 2012, Miner has played a team-high 350 minutes through the first four games this season. She has yet to miss a game during her three seasons as a Griffin, appearing in all 42 games the team has played with 3836 starts.

IN NET WITH WILKINSON
Jamie Wilkinson opened 2013 by recording her third career shutout in the win over Jamestown. While she didn't make any saves in that contest, Wilkinson came back to make a career-best 10 stops in the loss to The Master's. Those 10 saves rank tied for sixth in team history for saves in a game and she has made 13 saves with a .765 save percentage.

OFFENSIVE FRESHMEN
With five different players in the 6-0 win over Jamestown, three of those goals were scored by freshmen. Madison Roemer scored her first career goal in the game's 19th minute when she fired a shot from the top of the box. Abigail Black got her name on the sheet in the 56th minute with a brilliant strike from 35 yards away that sailed just over the reach of the keeper. Not to be outdone, Nikaila Nicholls scored her first career goal on a blast from 30 yards away that was just inside the upper 90 at the far post.

ALL-CONFERENCE CARTER
Junior Nicole Carter returns to the Griffins back line after being named All-Frontier Conference a season ago. A versatile defender, Carter also scored a pair of goals in 2012 and played a total of 967 minutes. She took six shots on the season and managed four of them on goal.

KEEPING UP WITH COOPER
Carissa Cooper is back after a 2012 season that saw her scored five goals in just 613 minutes of action. She closed out the year with a hat trick in the Griffins 7-1 win over Houston-Victoria (Texas). Her hat trick was just the fourth in school history and the first by a sophomore.
