WHITEFISH, Mont. – The Westminster College women's soccer team was honored with 16student-athletes being named Academic All-Frontier Conference, commissioner Kent Paulson announced today.
Westminster was second in the conference with 16 members on the academic team, which also is a new team record for number of recipients. The Griffins have now had 54 student-athletes named academic all-conference in the program's history.

Sarah Swenson and
Nicole Taylor were each named to the team for the third time in their Westminster careers. Second-time recipients from Westminster were
Lindsay Bekken,
Heather Hillam and
Nikki Kopfman.
Jessica Harris,
Alyssa Hill,
Claire Huntsberger,
Corie Walch,
Lorin Wathen,
Brianna Wilson,
Dayna Winter-Nolte and
Sadie Young were each honored for the first time.
In total, the Frontier recognized 57 student-athletes for their performance in the classroom. To be eligible for the team, the student-athlete must be at least a sophomore in standing, maintain a 3.0 GPA and participate in one half of their team's games.
