Box Score VICTORIA, Texas – The Westminster College women's soccer team concluded the 2012 regular season with a 1-0 loss against Texas at Brownsville on Saturday afternoon in a neutral site game.

Westminster (12-5-1) surrendered the game's lone goal and game winner in the first half off the powerful foot of Isadora Freitas assisted by Tabata Vieira and Nelleke Smits. Playing great defense it would be the only goal UTB (12-4-1) would need. The Griffins came out strong in the second half, but couldn't find the equalizer.

Westminster will now sit and wait for the remainder of the regular season to play out in the Frontier Conference and NAIA. They still have an outside shot at the conference title game, but most likely have to hope for an at-large invite to the NAIA National Championships.
