Box Score PORTLAND, Ore. – The 24th-ranked Westminster College women's soccer team was shutout by fifth-ranked Concordia (Ore.), 3-0, on Sunday afternoon. Westminster has now failed to score in 210 consecutive minutes dating back three games.
Westminster drops to 6-4-1 overall this season while Concordia improves to 5-3-1.
The Griffins were outshot in the contest 11-7 and only managed two shots on goal. They were awarded four corner kicks and suffered 19 fouls while being whistled for 18.
All three Concordia goals came in the first half, with the first coming in the 18th minute when Erin Huisingh beat Griffin keeper
Dayna Winter-Nolte. Alex Thomas added a goal in the 27th minute while Ashley Ames scored in the 37th minute.
Westminster will now return home to face Carroll on Saturday. The action begins at Dumke Field at 1 p.m.
