Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 | Box Score 3 AUSTIN, Texas – The Westminster women's lacrosse team went 2-1 at this weekend's Lonestar Showdon.

The top-ranked Griffins from WDIA Division II suffered a 20-9 loss to Texas from Division I on Friday. Westminster came back to claim an 11-6 win over third-ranked SMU on Saturday morning. They completed the trip with a 14-10 win over Texas A&M on Saturday afternoon.

Westminster is now 10-2 on the season has gone 4-0 in games with Rocky Mountain Women's Lacrosse League teams.

The Griffins will travel to Wyoming and Colorado to play five games in three days. The trip begins in Laramie, Wyo. against Wyoming on April 8. The next day, Westminster will face Colorado State and Air Force in Colorado Springs. The trip concludes on April 10 with games against Dallas and Colorado College.
