DURANGO, Colo. – The Westminster men's lacrosse team dropped a 14-12 decision against Fort Lewis in RMLC action on Saturday afternoon. The loss is the third straight for the Griffins who are now 9-6 on the season and 1-1 in the conference.

Westminster tried to rally with nine goals in the second half, but they couldn't overcome a sluggish opening 30 minutes. Kellen Lynn finished the game with six goals and one assist to lead the Griffins. Dallas McLellan notched 16 saves in goal only to suffer the loss.

Westminster concludes the regular season on Sunday against Northern Arizona in Flagstaff, Arizona. A win would clinch an opening round bye in next week's RMLC playoffs. The opening faceoff is scheduled for noon.
