SALT LAKE CITY – The Westminster women's soccer team lost to No. 15 The Masters College on Dumke Field this Afternoon, 2-0. This loss will be Westminster's third in a row, and drops them to 4-7 on the season. The Griffins and Mustangs played to a 0-0 tie through the first 45 minutes.

Robyn Estrada gave The Master's a 1-0 lead when she snuck a shot inside the near post in the 51st minute.  Emily Burton made it 2-0 when she took advantage of an excellent cross from Sierra Goff and scored in the 56th minute.

This was a very aggressive game with 9nine fouls by each team,and a three yellow cards issued. The first yellow of the game was on Jennifer Prescott of the Griffins.  tWestminster head coach, Tony LeBlanc, also received a yellow card caution in the contest.

Westminster is back in action on Sunday, September 20 when they host No. 17 Carroll College.  First kick of the Frontier Conference contest is scheduled for noon at Dumke Field.
