SALT LAKE CITY – The Westminster men's lacrosse team moved one step closer to clinching a division title with a 7-6 win over Fort Lewis on Saturday afternoon. Westminster improved to 3-0 in the RMLC West division and won their seventh consecutive game overall.
Kevin Gee scored his only goal of the game with 1:17 left in the fourth quarter to secure the Westminster victory.
Ricky Larkin led the Griffins with two goals and one assist.

Andy Lehr,
Weston Morley, and
Gian Sexsmith all tallied a goal in the Westminster victory.
Dallas McLellan turned away twenty shots by Fort Lewis. Westminster recorded 41 shots to 34 by Fort Lewis.
The game was part of a Multiple Sclerossis event that raised $2,000 for the Utah Chapter of the MS Society. Westminster players all wore orange socks in honor of the event.
Westminster returns to Dumke Field for the final time this season when they host the University of Utah on Wednesday, April 1. Westminster athletes will be recognized for their accomplishments during the 2008-09 season at halftime of the game that starts at 4:00 p.m.
