ATLANTA, Ga. - The St. Thomas Tommies came to Atlanta ready to make a statement. They did so at the expense of a Griffin Lax squad who started strong but found no answer for the second quarter surge that put the Tommies on top 13-3 by halftime intermission.
The Tommies used the rain soaked Astroturf at Georgia Tech as the game was rescheduled at the eleventh hour as torrential rains washed out the Emory University facility.
Josh Condas and
Jacob Wayman each score twice for the Griffins.
Dallas McLellan had 15 saves in the loss.
The Griffins will play Emory University at North Springs HS at 1:30 PM. February 28. The last minute change is to accommodate rest requirements for the Griffins.
