ATHENS, Tenn. - The Davenport Bulldogs are enjoying their inaugural year in the MCLA. After completing a 3-0 start over the weekend at Tennessee Wesleyan the newcomer completed their spring break trip by breaking a 10-10 tie late in the fourth quarter with two unanswered goals to hand the Griffins their first defeat of 2009. Dallas McLellan had 17 saves in the losing effort, including several point blank turn-backs late in the game.

Rick Larkin notched a pair of goals in the losing effort. Freshman middie
Kevin Gee also found the net twice in the game that was tied at 7's at half and again at 10-10 entering the fourth.
Westminster will take on host Tennessee Wesleyan University at 1:00 PM Wednesday at the Athens, TN campus.
