OMAHA, Neb. - Park University scored twice in the second half to win the Independent Tournament semi-final match with Westminster 2-0 on Friday night. Westminster managed just six shots in defeat and fall to 9-7-2 on the season with the loss. They now wait to see if they can claim an at-large bid to the NAIA National Tournament.
James Katajwa scored both Park goals, the first coming on a penalty kick in the 57th minute. He put the game away with a goal in the 89th minute. Val Campbell made four saves for the Griffins and Mark stoker led the team with three shots, all on net.
