SALT LAKE CITY – Westminster University men's golfers Hayden Howell and Nic Jensen have been named 2025-26 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars, the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced Monday, August 3, 2026.
Westminster was one of 75 NCAA Division II schools to earn at least one honoree among the 205 total recipients named across the division.
Howell, a junior from Smithfield, Utah, maintains a 3.54 grade-point average in Business Management. Jensen, a junior from Las Vegas, Nevada, carries a 3.94 GPA in Business Management.
To be eligible for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar nomination, a student-athlete must be a sophomore, junior, or senior both academically and athletically, participate in 50% of their team's competitive rounds, maintain a stroke average under 78.0, and hold a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. Recipients must also be of high moral character and in good standing at their college or university.
