SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – Westminster University men's soccer was picked to finish sixth in the 2026 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll, the conference announced Tuesday.

The Griffins totaled 61 points, finishing just ahead of seventh-place Colorado Mesa University (57 points) and behind fifth-place CSU Pueblo (63 points).

UCCS, the defending RMAC champion, was the unanimous preseason favorite with 100 points and all 10 first-place votes. Regis University was picked second (85 points), followed by Fort Lewis College (75) and MSU Denver (71). Colorado School of Mines, South Dakota Mines, Colorado Christian University and Adams State University rounded out the 11-team poll.

Preseason poll results are determined by a vote of RMAC head coaches, who are not permitted to vote for their own teams. Teams receive 10 points for a first-place vote, nine for second, and so on, with 100 points possible.

The RMAC also released its 2026 Preseason All-RMAC Men's Soccer Team, selecting 12 returning student-athletes based on their placement on the league's 2025 All-RMAC Teams.

Westminster reached the 2025 RMAC Tournament semifinals last season, defeating CSU Pueblo in overtime in the quarterfinals before falling on the road to UCCS.
