Three Griffins Earn NCAA Bids, Puente Tasias Named All-RMISA First Team, Vognild and Angerer Collect All-RMISA Alpine Honors

SALT LAKE CITY, UT - Westminster University will send three alpine skiers to the 2026 NCAA Men's and Women's Skiing Championships, set for March 11-14 at Park City, Utah, hosted by the University of Utah. Alejandro Puente Tasias and Benjamin Angerer were selected from the West Region on the men's side, while Guro Hestad Vognild earned a Women's West Region bid. Alpine events will be held March 11 and March 13 at Utah Olympic Park.

The NCAA selections come on the heels of All-RMISA Alpine recognition for both Puente Tasias and Angerer. Puente Tasias, who won the Men's Slalom title at the RMISA Championships, was named to the All-RMISA Men's Alpine First Team. Angerer earned All-RMISA Men's Alpine Honorable Mention. On the women's side, Vognild was named to the All-RMISA Women's Alpine Second Team.
