SALT LAKE CITY, UT. –   Westminster University senior attacker Luke Stillstrop and senior goalkeeper Christian Jones are the Week 3 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Athletes of the Week, presented Monday.

Offensive

Luke Sillstrop, Westminster (Senior, Attacker, Encinitas, California)

Sillstrop scored five goals and had four assists during Westminster's Florida road trip last week that saw them post a 1-1 record. He notched a goal and an assist in the Griffins' 13-10 victory at Palm Beach Atlantic, putting six shots on goal and adding four groundballs. Sillstrop followed up with a four-goal, two-assist effort in a 14-9 loss at Lynn, scoring twice with Westminster a man up and once when they were a man down.

Defensive

Christian Jones, Westminster (Senior, Goalkeeper, South Jordan, Utah)

Jones made 23 saves and posted a .742 save percentage during Westminster's road trip last week. He played nearly 52 minutes in net during the 13-10 win at Palm Beach Atlantic, making 13 saves on 19 shots on goal and he was credited with three groundballs and one caused turnover. Jones started in the loss at Lynn and allowed only two goals on 12 shots on goal in his 11:34 in goal, and was again credited with three groundballs.
