Boulder City, NV - The Westminster Griffins Women's Golf team journeyed to Boulder City, NV, for the RMAC Championship, concluding their tournament in seventh place on the team leaderboard. Leading the charge was senior
Tuesday Epperson, whose performance earned her a spot in the top 20 with a score of +18, including an even par 72 in her final round.
Halle Parkin closely followed suit, securing a respectable position on the leaderboard with a score of +19 and three consecutive rounds in the 70's.
Director of Golf and head coach Denise Larson commended the team's depth, noting, "We had a different player lead the team with a low score in each round, including 2 veterans and one freshman." Larson expressed pride in the team's progress throughout the tournament and the season, highlighting the adjustments made and the improvements exhibited by each player.
A special acknowledgment was extended to seniors Tuesday Epperson and Halle Parkin for their leadership and contributions to the team. "Congratulations to our seniors Tuesday and Halle for their exceptional careers at Westminster," Larson remarked.
Kyra Sponenburgh finished the tournament in 28th place, Ellie DeMond finished tied for 32nd, while Jailee Snow secured the 44th position, rounding out the team's performance.
