Denver, CO - The Westminster Men's and Women's Cross Country teams competed the at the South Central Regional Championships, facing off against top competitors in the region.
Men's 10K Results
Liam Thompson led the men's team, finishing with a time of 36:44.1, placing 135th overall. Mack Taylor followed with a time of 37:43.9, finishing 146th, while Thomas Maxfield crossed the line in 38:50.9 to claim 153rd place. Diego Escalante and James Stock rounded out the men's team with times of 41:35.4 and 42:07.5, placing 160th and 161st respectively. The men's team demonstrated resilience in their longest race of the season.
Women's 6K Results
On the women's side, Sophia Krzemien led the Griffins with a time of 26:35.6, earning 135th place, closely followed by Haven Finley at 26:36.0 in 136th place. Jocelyn Olson (26:56.4) and Angela Martin-Rubin (27:18.3) took 144th and 145th places, while Mia McKay completed the race in 28:53.3, placing 157th. The Griffins women showcased determination on the challenging regional course.
