Logan, UT - It was the season opener for the Westminster Griffins Cross Country teams as they made the trip to Utah State earlier today.
It was the Utah State Sagebrush Invitational 5k & 7k.
Courtney McAlindon's 9th place finish (18:36) led the way for the women's team and Noah Peterson (23:54) &
Riley McCarter (23:56) in 29th and 30th place were two leaders for the men's squad.

Up next for both men's and women's teams they will gear up for their next stop in Denver, CO as they will compete in the
Roadrunner Invite on Sept. 17.
