Denise Dingsleder (1:23.22 total time) finished third in the women's slalom as the Westminster men's and women's alpine skiing teams wrapped up the third day of the Spencer James Nelson Memorial Invitational at Howelsen Hill on Friday.
On an eventful day in Colorado for Westminster, both Fredricsson and
Joachim Mjelde reached the fastest times of each of their respective fields in the slalom on a chilly Friday afternoon. Westminster finished fifth with a total of 328 points team points between the men's and women's teams.

Fredricsson raced out to the fastest first run of the day (39.87) and wasn't the only Griffin to finish in the top three as her teammate Dingsleder finished just behind with a time of 1:23.22.
Hannah Saethereng (1:24.60,) Julia Toiviainen (1:25.31,) Henriette Resen (1:25.97,) and Lana Zbaskin (1:26.10) each finished top-21 in the women's field as Westminster led all teams with five top-20 total times. |
