LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz.—
Zach Dallimore shot 5-over, 77 to lead the Griffins in the first round of the 2020-21 Men's Golf Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Championships at the Wigwam Golf Course.
CSU Pueblo scored 287 and holds a 12-stroke lead over UCCS (297) in second and a 14-stroke lead over Colorado Mesa and Colorado School of Mines (301) in third. The Griffins finished ninth with a score of 312.
Dallimore made two birdies on the back-nine to finish the round 5-over, 77.
Alec Williams and
Davis Amis finished one stroke behind Dallimore.
Masen Ward carded 79 to round out the teams scoring.
A strong second round on Tuesday could see the Griffins move ahead of South Dakota Mines and Colorado Christian who are five and four strokes ahead, respectively.
