Match Breakdown
Despite strong winds making conditions difficult throughout the week, Westminster's men's golf team placed second overall at the RCA Electric Spring Invitational, fueled by Andrew Ahlstrom's second-place individual finish and four Griffins landing inside the top 20.
Round One
Westminster opened the RCA Electric Spring Invitational posting a first-round team score of +20, with the Griffins' four counting scores coming from Andrew Ahlstrom (+4), Ty Anderson (+5), Nic Jensen (+5), and Wyatt Toney (+6).
Round Two
Westminster posted a team score of +14 in the second round. Ahlstrom paced the Griffins with an even-par 72, while Hayden Howell contributed his best round of the tournament at +3.
Round Three
The Griffins closed the tournament with their best team round of the event at +13, finishing at +47 for the tournament — good for a runner-up finish nine strokes behind tournament champion Menlo (+38). Ahlstrom capped the week with his best individual round, a 1-under 71.

Westminster was led by a strong showing at the top of the lineup, with four Griffins finishing inside the top 20 individually:

Andrew Ahlstrom finished 2nd overall, posting rounds of +4, even, and 1-under for a 54-hole total of +3. Ahlstrom ranked T3 in the field in par-4 scoring (+5, avg 4.17) and T2 in par-5 scoring (-6, avg 4.50), while recording 10 birdies — tied for second-most in the entire field.

Wyatt Toney finished 11th at +14 on rounds of +6, +5, and +3, improving in each successive round. He led the entire field in par-3 scoring at -3 with an average of 2.75, while tallying 8 birdies on the week.

Hayden Howell finished 14th at +16 on rounds of +9, +3, and +4. Howell led the entire field in par-5 scoring at -7 with an average of 4.42 per hole.

Ty Anderson finished 20th, posting rounds of +5, +6, and +7 for a 54-hole total of +18.

Nic Jensen finished 31st to round out the Westminster scoring lineup at +24 on rounds of +5, +8, and +11, ranking T8 in the field in par-3 scoring (+2, avg 3.17).
Also competing as individuals were Anthony Goodson (+21), Jake Debry (+33), and Aiden Pavey (+33).
