SALT LAKE CITY - Westminster men's soccer (8-8, 5-3 RMAC), third-place in the RMAC men's soccer standings heading into the weekend, will hit the road to play Colorado Christian (10-4, 4-4 RMAC) on Friday at noon before returning home to host its regular-season finale against No. 17 Colorado School of Mines (12-3-1, 7-0-1 RMAC) on Sunday at 1:30 p.m.

- Three-time All Academic Honor Roll (2018, 2019, & 2020-21)
- First Team All-RMAC (2021)
- Two-time Second Team All-RMAC (2018 & 2019)
- Amano has started all 16 games this season and has appeared in 77 career games with 74 career starts.
- He was named Second Team All-RMAC after finishing in a tie for eighth in the conference with seven goals as a sophomore in 2018.
- Amano is a double-major in marketing and finance.

Zach Nielsen - Defender - Salt Lake City, Utah
- Two-time RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll
- Three-time Honorable Mention All-RMAC
- Helped lead a 2019 Westminster defense that finished with the most clean sheets (12) in the RMAC, the second-fewest goals against average (.68), and the third fewest goals allowed (14) over the course of the conference schedule.
- Has appeared in 81 career games with 75 career starts.
- Nielsen is a graduate student pursuing his M.B.A.

Gavin Flitton - Defender - Kaysville, Utah
- First Team All-RMAC (2020-21)
- Two-time RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll (2018 & 2019)
- Transferred to Westminster in 2017 from University of the Pacific.
- Helped a 2018 defense that finished second in the RMAC in fewest goals allowed (14), goals against average (.77), and clean sheets (8), in his first season of action for the Griffins.
- Has appeared in 49 career games with 44 career starts at Westminster.
- Flitton is a graduate student currently pursuing his Master's in Education.
- Ian Rose - Goalkeeper - Mission Viejo, Calif.
- RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll (2021)
- Made his first career start in net against Fort Lewis on March 19, 2021.
- Has made 12 starts as a senior, going 8-7 with four shutouts for the Griffins. His 4.0 saves per game are third-most RMAC.
- Currently is fourth in the RMAC with his 1.086 goals against average. He is third in the RMAC with a .787 save percentage and sixth in shutouts.
- Rose is set to graduate as a double major in marketing and finance.
- Carlos Becerra-Gomez - Midfielder - West Jordan, Utah
- Sarted the first six games of the season for Westminster before going down with a season-ending injury.
- Signed with Westminster after graduating with a degree in psychology from UC Irvine.
- Appeared in 10 matches for UC Irvine with five starts as a junior in 2019.
- Transferred to UC Irvine after a two-year stint at Coastal Carolina where he was a Sun Belt Conference Commissioner's List honoree (3.50 or better GPA).
- Carlos plans on attending law school with the goal of becoming a criminal defense attorney
- He currently works as an assistant at a personal injury law firm and volunteers in the community as an assistant coach for the Copper Hill High School varsity boys soccer team.
- Colin Horman - Defender - Bluffdale, Utah
- Committed to Westminster in 2020 after spending time at both Salt Lake Community College and later, MSU Denver.
- Started six game for Westminster this season, logging over 500 minters with one assist in the Griffins' 2-1 win vs. Fort Lewis back on Oct. 10.
- Colin is pursuing a degree in Business at Westminster.

- Westminster defeated Regis, 1-0, last Friday and followed up with a 5-1 over S.D. Mines on Sunday to move into the top half of the RMAC men's soccer standings.

- The Griffins have won four of their last six matches and hope to improve on their 2-5 road record in their final road match of the season Friday at Colorado Christian.
About the Cougars:
- Colorado Christian (10-4, 4-4 RMAC) lost both of its matchups last weekend, falling 2-0 at UCCS and 3-2 at CSU Pueblo.
- CCU sits in fifth place heading into the final weekend of the regular season and are atop of a four-way cluster of teams (CCU, FLC, MSUD and UCCS) with four conference wins.
- The Cougars will not see any easy points this weekend as they host 12th-ranked Colorado Mesa on Sunday at noon to wrap up the regular season.
- Westminster is 16-4-1 all-time against the Cougars and have won the last three by a combined 13-0 scoreline. The Griffins have won 12 straight with CCU's last win coming back in Sept. of 2000.
