SALT LAKE CITY, Utah--
Danny Darelli's first half goal and
Bridger Hansen's second half goal saw Westminster (8-3-2, 6-1-2 RMAC) past Colorado Mesa (7-3-2, 5-2-2 RAMC), 2-0.
"We scored a very nice goal by Danny and capitalized in the second half with a great finish from Bridger," Head Coach
Josh Pittman said. They were aggressive and their positioning caused us some problems in the second half but the back line made some adjustments nad handled it well securing a huge win for the program."
Darelli poked the ball past Colorado Mesa's goalkeeper for his fourth game-winning goal of the season.
Adir Hazout provided the the assist with a perfectly placed through ball from the left side near half. Darelli ran between the center backs to get to the ball inside the penalty box and scored in the lower right corner.

Gavin Flitton. Flitton dribbled up the middle and shot from 25 yards out. Maverick Goalkeeper Brenden Brown dove to his right and saved the shot but was unable to hold on and Hansen reacted to finish inside the six.
The Mavericks shot a ball over the goal and spoiled a good chance on a loose ball inside the penalty box. Griffin goalkeeper
Will Desantis made two saves to secure the win and a shutout.
