Denver, CO – The Westminster men's and women's Cross-Country teams finished up their Region Cross-Country Championship meet as the women's team finished 18 where the men's team finished 22.
For the men's meet the Colorado Mines finished in first place followed by fellow RMAC members of Adams State, Western Colorado University, CSU-Pueblo, UCCS and Black Hills St. F
For the Griffins
Eric Mellmer finished with the top time for the Westminster 33:46.6, Paul Matthews finished right behind him with a time of 34:02.9.
For the women's team with a finish inside the top 20 they saw their RMAC members finish top of the scoreboard just as the men with Adams State, Western Colorado University, Colorado Mines, UCCS, Metro State and Black Hills State all finished in the top six.
For the women's Griffins team Katie Scott finished with a top time for Westminster as she placed 69
thwith a time of 24:06.0, Cali Corkan finished behind her at 76
thwith a time of 24:26.5 for the freshmen.
Hannah Roher-Fitzhugh, Emery Hovermale, Christine Sheehan, Maddy Vilhauer and Saydi Anderson all finished in the top 160 for the Griffins.
