Griffins Set for Two Game in Colorado Springs
The Westminster men's lacrosse team will spend the weekend in Colorado Springs, Colo., where they will play two games. They face Colorado College on Thursday at 7 p.m. in a non-conference contest. The Griffins will then play Maryville in a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference game on Saturday at 10 a.m. Both games will be played at Washburn Field at Colorado College.

About the Griffins
Westminster heads on the road at 3-5 overall this season and on a 3-game losing streak. The Griffins are 3-3 in RMAC games and currently sit fourth in the conference standings. The top four teams in the final conference standings qualify for the RMAC Tournament which will be played on May 5-6 at the site of the regular season champion.
The Griffins are averaging 11.38 goals per game to rank fourth in the conference. They attempt 34.88 shots per game and score on 32.6 percent of those attempts. The team ranks fifth in the RMAC by scoring on 22.2 percent on man-up opportunities.

Sarjeant Sets the Tone
Thomas Sarjeant has 14 goals and eight assists this season to rank second on the team in each category. His 22 points lead the squad and he is eighth in the RMAC at 2.75 points per game. Sarjeant has scored multiple goals in a game five times this season with a point in six straight outings. Sarjeant is eighth in the RMAC in taking 5.50 shots per game. He currently sits 11th in team history with 130 career points and ranks 12th in goals (62) and fourth in assists (68).
Vance on the Attack
Troy Vance has scored a goal in all but one game this season with multiple goals in five games. He leads the team with 18 goals overall and is fourth in the conference by scoring 2.25 goals per game. Vance has attempted 42 shots – scoring on 42.9 percent – and has two assists for 20 points. The junior ranks 17th in team history with 50 career goals and 15th with 115 career shot attempts.
Marcy's Debut
Nick Marcy leads the Griffins with 12 assists and he has scored nine goals to place second on the squad with 21 points. Marcy has scored at least one point in seven of the team's eight games this season and he has four games with at least three points. Marcy had three goals and two assists in the collegiate debut against Rockhurst on March 4 and totaled two goals and four assists at Maryville on March 19. He currently ranks fifth in the RMAC by averaging 1.50 assists per game.
