Box Score HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Westminster women's lacrosse team opened its trip to South Carolina by defeating Elms College, 21-3, on Monday to snap a two-game losing streak.

Westminster (2-2) used four goals apiece from
Morgan Bakarich,
Katie Adams, and
Kira Heiden to cruise to the win.
Maggie HerrNeckar added two goals and two assists.
Makenzie Hekking only had to make three saves to earn the win in cage.

"The entire team played well today," Westminster head coach
Niki Harding said of her team's performance. "They were able to control the pace of the game and made some great plays. Everyone was able to contribute to the win and worked hard throughout the game."

The Griffins will look to sweep the trip on Tuesday when they face Wentworth Institute of Technology at 11 a.m. (MT).
