SALT LAKE CITY – The Westminster women's soccer team plays at home for the first time this season when they play host to the Westminster Fall Classic this weekend. Dumke Field will play host to a total of four games over three days with the Griffins playing in two of those contests.
Westminster's first home game comes on Saturday at noon MT when they host Eastern Oregon from the Cascade Collegiate Conference. The Griffins will then close the weekend on Sunday with a noon against another Cascade foe in College of Idaho.
The other games on the schedule features Arizona Christian against Eastern Oregon on Friday and then ACU plays College of Idaho on Saturday.
All four games of the Fall Classic will be streamed live on Griffins TV which is on Livestream and available on the Livestream app and Roku devices. There will also be live stats available for all four games of the weekend.
Griffin NotebookWestminster comes home after opening the season with a 3-0 record during the season's first two weeks. Last week, the Griffins claimed a 1-0 win at SCAD Savannah (Ga.) and then defeated South Carolina Beaufort, 3-0.
The Griffins enter the weekend averaging 1.67 goals per game and attempting 12 shots per game. They have put 36.1 percent of their shot attempts on goal and are scoring on 38.5 percent of their shots on goal. Westminster has recorded one assist and taken 15 corner kicks.
Defensively, the Griffins haven't allowed a goal on the year and are allowing just seven shots per game. They held USCB without a shot in the entire game. The opposition has put eight of their shots on goal for a 38.1 SOG percentage.
Abby Holbrook leads the team with two goals – both game-winners – and she has scored on both of her shot attempts.

Lexi Tucker have scored the team's other three goals this season. Tucker leads all Griffins with nine shots and three shots on goal.
Miranda Olsen has notched the team's only assist this season.
Abi Yanke has played all 270 minutes in goal without allowing a goal. The junior has made seven saves in recording three shutout victories.
About Eastern OregonEastern Oregon comes to SLC at 0-2-1 on the season and still looking for their first goal. The Mountaineers opened the season with a 0-0 tie with Cal State San Marcos before consecutive 4-0 loss to San Diego Christian (Calif.) and Soka (Calif.). They are attempting 6.33 shots per game and 2.33 shots on goal per contest. Maddi Cillay leads the team with four shots and two shots on goal.
About College of IdahoCollege of Idaho travels south for the weekend at 2-1 on the year and riding a two-game winning streak. The Yotes are coming off a 4-1 win over Northwest Nazarene (Idaho) and then a 1-0 defeat of Rocky Mountain (Mont.) last week. As a team, College of Idaho is taking 13 shots per game and scoring 1.67 goals per outing. Katelyn Benavidez leads her team with two goals and Camas Curran has a team-best two assists. Aimee Pierson leads all keepers with 12 saves in 180 minutes of action.
Consecutive ShutoutsWestminster season-opening streak of three consecutive shutouts is tied for the third-longest shutout streak in school history and is the longest to open a season. The team had a span of five-straight shutouts during the 2010 campaign and then posted four-straight towards the end of last season. Dating back to the final game of last season, the Griffins have gone 302:35 minutes without allowing a goal. That ranks as the seventh-longest streak in team history.
Offensive ThreatsWestminster welcomes back three of its top four goal scorers from last season in

Lexi Tucker, and
Abigail Black. The Griffins also welcome the return of 2012 leading scorer,
Rylei North. Those three combined to score 20 of the team's 41 goals in 2013. This season, both North and Tucker have scored one goal each.
StreakingMiranda Olsen has never missed a game in her career and is climbing the chart of consecutive appearances. The senior has played in all three games this season and ranks fourth in school history by playing in 63-straight outings.

Approaching 75Head Coach
Tony LeBlanc goes into the weekend season just one win shy of reaching the 75 win mark for his career. As the only head coach in the history of the program, LeBlanc has led the Griffins to an average of 10 wins per season and two trips to the NAIA National Championships.
Double Figure WinsWestminster has been consistent in the past four seasons where they have notched at least 11 wins and finished with a winning record in each of those seasons. The Griffins are 52-27-7 (.645) since the 2010 season and made two trips to the NAIA National Championships. During that span, a total of 26 teams across the NAIA have had double-digit victories in all four seasons.
Home CookingThe Griffins have been stellar at Dumke Field since the inception of the program in 2007. They have a 42-13-4 all-time record on the home turf after posting a 7-3 record at home last season. Westminster won a school-record nine-straight home games during the 2011 campaign and extended it to 16-straight unbeaten when carried into the 2012 season.
Climbing the ChartsAbi Yanke has opened 2014 at the same level that fans got used to seeing last season. The junior goalkeeper has made seven saves through three games in posting three-straight shutout victories. She now ranks second in school history with 11 shutouts and third among all Griffins with 11 career victories.

Nothing Gets PastYanke is also moving in the career lead for goals-against-average and save percentage. She needs 166 minutes in net to qualify for the career leaders department in those categories. She enters this week's action with a 0.55 goals-against-average for her career while also posting a .818 save percentage. Both of those totals will move her into the top position in each of those categories. Yanke is coming off a 2013 season in which she set the school record for a season with a 0.61 GAA.
