LEWISTON, Idaho – The Westminster College cross country teams concluded the 2013 season on Friday at the Frontier Conference Championships. The Westminster women notched a fifth-place finish with 130 points while the men scored 158 points to place sixth.
While the men finished sixth,
Oliver Lange ran a school-record 24:54 over the grassy 8K course to finish third. With that finish, Lange qualifies for the NAIA National Championships for a second straight season. Lange was also awarded with a Champion of Character award after the race.
Erin Kibler finished 22nd in the women's race with personal-best in a 5K with a time of 19:21. Kibler set the pace for the women's team that saw four of the five set personal best's by at least 25 seconds.
Rebecca Goldstein was given the Champion of Character award on the women's side.
