Westminster Harriers Compete at Bob Firman

MEN'S RESULTS | WOMEN'S RESULTS

BOISE, Idaho – The Westminster men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Bob Firman Invitational on Saturday afternoon. The Westminster men placed fourth overall with 92 points. The women finished fourth overall behind 114 points. The men ran an 8K race with the women competing in a 5K.

Andrew Archer led the men's team with a 16th-place finish behind his time of 26:57. Oliver Lange ran a 27:42 to place 25th and was followed by Jef Marsicola who finished 29th after running a 28:18. Tyler Gregg and David Sondrup placed 36th and 37th with times of 28:43 and 28:46 respectively. Ian Asay finished 49th for the Griffins at 31:19.

Katrina England paced the women's team with a 40th-place finish and a time of 21:04. Ellie Layman was right behind England with her time of 21:13 for a 42nd-place finish. Sarah Martin ran 21:40 to finish 48th while Kara Peters was 49th at 21:50. Cassie Mulkey was 54th overall with her time of 22:48 with Allison Perkins running 23:23 to place 56th. Lexie Almberg completes the field for the Griffins with a 59th-place finish at 25:04.

Westminster will be back in action on Saturday, October 9 at the Vanguard Invitational in Costa Mesa, California.
