HAYDEN LAKE, Idaho – The Westminster men's and women's golf teams completed the fall portion of the schedule at the North Idaho College Invitational on Monday. The tournament was held at Avondale Golf Course which is a 6,600 par 71 track. The men's event featured 10 teams with the women's event consisting of eight teams.

The Westminster men finished in eight place overall. They shot an opening round 324 in Sunday's first round and were five shots behind Carroll College at the end of the round. The second round was better for the Griffins as they shot 318 to finish with a 642. Lewis-Clark State College won the overall title with a final score of 589, holding off Rocky Mountain College by six strokes.

On the women's side, Westminster finished in third place. The Griffins were second after the first round on Sunday behind a 332. Whitman College caught the Griffins for second with a final round 335 compared to the 356 shot by Westminster. Rocky Mountain won the women's title with a score of 666, putting them eight shots in front of Whitman.

Individual scores were not available for the Griffins.
