Season Ends with 1-3 Road Trip

DENVER, Colo. – The Westminster women's lacrosse team concluded the inaugural season with a 1-3 road trip to Colorado. Westminster lost to Air Force and the University of Denver and picked up a win against the Colorado School of Mines.

Air Force handed the Griffins a 12-3 loss to open the trip. Westminster got goals from Amanda McIntyre, Erika Rebentisch, and Sage West in the loss. That game was followed with an 11-4 defeat of the Colorado School of Mines. Rebentisch scored five goals while Erin Foslid and Yvonne Sumampong had two goals each. Amanda Abraham and Lauryn Summons added the other Westminster goals.

The trip concluded with a 17-1 loss against the University of Denver. Rebentisch tallied the lone goal of the game for Westminster.

The road trip capped the inaguaral season of women's lacrosse at Westminster College. The team finished with a 3-3 record in the Rocky Mountain Women's Lacrosse League. Rebentisch led the team with 19 goals and 20 points. McIntyre added 10 goals and Sage West scored six times.
