COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Colorado College scored a goal in the 93rd minute to claim a 1-0 win over Westminster on Sunday afternoon. The Griffins were playing a man down due to a red card. Kevin Ecke collected his third goal of the season when he gathered a loosed ball on the right side of the box and out it in for the winner. Westminster drops to 6-5-2 on the season win the loss.
Westminster could only manage seven shots all day, and only one of those found the frame. Colorado College recorded 21 shots and held a 9-5 advantage in corner kicks. The game featured 29 total fouls, 17 by Westminster. Westminster also received two yellow cards and the red card that forced them a man down.
