Biography

Personal: Returning for his junior year, 5-foot-8 sprinter Chris Snellings strives to add a few more mentions in the school record annals and Dean’s List, as he already graces the pages of both. Chris holds three all-time Griffin top 5’s in dashes from 55M with a roof overhead, to 400M without. An Honor Roll high school athlete for the Oakland, California Wildcats, the Westminster Physics major left the land of the setting sun with accolades including All-City, All-State, and the bay area’s bump city MVP.

Outside of his (often middle) lane, Chris channels his Filipino pride off the track with a groove including poetry, saxophone, and singing. Parents Andrew and Leny and siblings Summer, Ameenah and Craig provide the cheering bounty from Alameda County.
