Biography

Laine Romney is from Bainbridge Island, Washington, and attended Bainbridge High School, where she earned Olympic League First Team and Olympic League MVP honors in 2024, lettered varsity all four years, placed eighth in the 400m at the 2025 2A Washington State Track & Field Championships, and won the 400m district championship in 2025.

She is majoring in Biology. Romney chose Westminster to continue playing soccer and running track somewhere she'd be surrounded by a strong, supportive community.

Family: parents Adam Romney and Whitley Romney.

Her goal is to attend graduate school to further her biology studies.

Favorite athlete: Tobin Heath.
